Robert Shiller, the Arthur M. Okun Professor of Economics, delivered the keynote address to the Second Committee of the United Nations General Assembly Oct. 4.
The Economic and Financial Committee (Second Committee) of the U.N. General Assembly is concerned with economic growth and financial matters related to development.
In his talk, “Stimulus and Regulation to Promote a Renewed and Spirited World Economy,” Shiller offered insights about current global economic challenges and proposed strategies for addressing them.
